installation kernel freezes on boot, last line reading "isa0 at pcib0". with userconf in netbsd-current i disabled the different isa drivers, and so was able to see the installation menu, but the keyboard didn't work.

Fukaumi Naoki reported the same problem with a MSI MS-6367 micro ATX
nForce motherboard and suggested to turn off all scsi-drivers with
userconf.
i figured out, that it was sufficient to turn off the ahc isa drivers.
[ 30] ahc0 at isa?
[ 32] ahc* at eisa?
there is a similar problem with OpenBSD 3.1, but the freeze happens
earlier, when the scsi driver gets activated.

Yes, the problem persists. I tried to boot with the cd-image from
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD-daily/HEAD/200610250000Z/i386/installation/cdrom/boot.iso
and it still hangs with the last message reading "isa0 at
pcib0/isa0...".
