audio/nas installs into ${X11BASE} when xpkgwedge is installed.
narn# pkg_info -v nas | grep CWD
CWD to: /usr/pkg
narn# ls -l /usr/X11R6/bin/nasd
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 92500 Oct 28 10:45 /usr/X11R6/bin/nasd
all files are installed into ${X11BASE}. I guess there is some imake
gunk missing for FreeBSD.

install xpkgwedge, install audio/nas.

FreeBSD's native host.def includes
#define ProjectRoot /usr/X11R6
so that line is copied into the new host.def (for xpkgwedge).
The xpkgwedge +INSTALL should not include any defined ProjectRoot.

I don't know, I haven't tried it for some time... but using a different
X implementation is irrelevant, it should work with the vendor
provided X.
