 Do you know if the working kernel has siside.c 1.2, or 1.3 ?
 If you don't have the sources, ident /netbsd should tell it.

 I see that this problem is in the suspended state because the contact 
 has not repiled.  I have the same problem with my new Averatec 6235-EE1 
 laptop.  I would be happy to serve as the contact for this problem.  As 
 such, I can say that this problem occurs on my laptop with 
 NetBSD-2.0.2.  The revision of siside.c is 1.5.2.1.  I am using the 
 amd64 kernel.  Thank you for your assistance!

"suspended" is no longer the right state for PRs with no submitter contact.
Also, in 2005 someone surfaced to say they have the same problem; I've added
them to the contacts, I think, and maybe they're still around...
