System: NetBSD hackworth 3.99.7 NetBSD 3.99.7 (HACKWORTH) #0: Sat Aug 6 19:23:36 EDT 2005 perry@hackworth:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/HACKWORTH i386
Architecture: i386
Machine: i386
>Description:
In -current, the ath driver has started to incorrectly select
the 802.11g operating mode on networks that only support 11b. As a
workaround, it is possible to manually set 11b mode. This is, however,
extremely annoying when one does not know if a network supports 11g or not.
>How-To-Repeat:
Try ifconfig'ing an ath on a base station that does 11b and
not 11g
>Fix:
unknown. A kernel dated May 26 2005 did not display this
issue.
