ntpd on this O2 never locks in:

All other machines on the same network, with identical configuration, sync
just fine.

Just run ntpd on a O2?
A kernel with options NTP vs. one w/o did not make a difference for me.

Duh, stupid pilot error: I forgot to comment out the "minsane" setting
in /etc/ntp.conf. After commenting that line, the machine now syncs
just fine.
(Maybe we should remove that default?)
