>Description:
When I start audacity, select Monitor microphone, then press Control-Z
in the xterm to stop the audacity process, after a few seconds my system
will lock up solid.

I can ping it, but I cannot log in over the network, and I cannot switch
virtual consoles. I have to power cycle the system.

This may be the same issue as port-i386/32408, but I am not sure.
