 This is probably a interrupt routing problem. We need more details about
 hardware .

 What boot media did you try ?
 If it was the boot floppy, please try i386/installation/boot.iso
 if it was an ISO image, please try to interrupt the boot count and
 enter:
 boot -c
 at the userconf prompt, enter
 disable acpi
 quit
