Architecture: alpha
Machine: alpha
>Description:
I've been trying to build a whole bunch of packages on my alpha. After
several days of compiling I've now twice had the machine panic.

The machine has 512 Mb of physical RAM and the same of swap.
Could it be that I just don't have enough swap space? Even so,
its not good that I get a panic.
>How-To-Repeat:
set up a bulk build, let it run for a long time.

no idea.
