If I enabled the hpn patch for OpenSSH then it stops accepting putty 0.60 clients if they use AES encryption.  An older version of putty works, and 0.60 clients work if they are set to use something other than AES (e.g. arcfour or blowfish).  This is the Windows version of putty, I didn't try the version in pkgsrc.

Any of the following general options may be selected:
        hpn-patch        High Performance Enabled SSH/SCP for OpenSSH.
        kerberos         Enable Kerberos support.

Is this still true with recent openssh? It's been long enough that I'm
going to assume it's ok unless someone reports to the contrary...
