State-Changed-By: riz@NetBSD.org
State-Changed-When: Wed, 16 Jun 2010 22:13:01 +0000
State-Changed-Why:
It looks like the device attaches to me; did you try using it?
the send-pr reference was intended to mean "tell us if it works".

ucom0 attached; did you try it?

You could also try netbsd 5.1_RC3 and see if it's any better.

I will try it and confirm.

 Success,
I confirm that with NetBSD 5.99.39 (GENERIC) #0: Tue Sep 7 kernel
Huaway USB modem does not crash the system any more, it attaches and
 seems to work.

 while
5.0_RC3 still cannot handle the device and crashes after inserting the
 device
5.02 Stable still cannot handle the device and crashes after inserting
 the device
4.0 Stable will not report anything and keep going ignorant of the device

I have two different USB Huaway anydata modems but they behave
similarly, I am going to test them both and report more.

Thank you for your work, gentlemen!
 Peter

State-Changed-When: Sat, 22 Sep 2018 14:17:27 +0000
State-Changed-Why:
reported as fixed in -current when it was 5.99.x, so that should mean all supported netbsd releases support it now.
thanks for the report and feedback!
