Line drawing characters in WSDISPLAY_FONTENC_ISO fonts ( like FONT_GALLANT12x22 which is the default on sparc64 and other ports ) are apparently mapped to whitespaces even though they are present in the font.

Build a kernel with WSEMUL_VT100, run sysinst, notice the missing boxes around menus.
