>Description:
deamons (ntpd for shure) has been modified to update mDNS,
this is fine as long as there is a simple means to turn this
	behavior off.

Reason to not have deamons anaunce services using mDNS /
	zeroconf are legio:

	1. There are plenty of cases (large / secured etc.networks)
where adins wants to remain in controll of resources and
	naming services.

	2. Networks will suffer badly when several naming services
	give different ansvers to querys.

	3. mDNS will cause lots of network traffic under surcumstances
where several naming services desagrees ore when querys are
leeking between network segments. (one's new and spiffy
switched qigabit network turns into 10Mbit cheapernet).

	4. Support becomes a nightmare due to unexpected behaviure.

ntpd does not attempt to configure the local mdns server by default, you have
 to turn it on.
mdnsd is not started, nor configured by default in NetBSD. You have to turn it
 on.

Did I miss anything as it sounds like the stock installation fits your needs?

mdns is not enabled by default so this seems like a nonissue.
