Is xorg using the radeon driver?

 If so, try:

 	Option "Int10" "false"

in the "Device" section of your /etc/xorg.conf file.

You probably can run the X -configure as root while logged in via ssh,
 the hang is "console only".

Is xorg using the radeon driver? YES

  If so, try:

  	Option "Int10" "false"

in the "Device" section of your /etc/xorg.conf file.

Tried it didn't make any difference!

  the hang is "console only".

No it is not possible, can not change console did even a ssh from remote
computer, every thing hanged after doing the "
sudo X -configure" it was not even possible to ping the acer after that.
