config: /netbsd does not contain embedded configuration data
sysupgrade: E: Failed to determine kernel name; please set KERNEL explicitly
From http://mail-index.netbsd.org/netbsd-bugs/2008/10/16/msg006528.html I assume it has something to do with the length of my "uname -a". :-/

Is /netbsd the kernel you booted? This is what the error message questions.
The RPI kernel config does not seem to include
"options INCLUDE_CONFIG_FILE", so config -x will not work on the kernel -
but I have no idea if the sysupgrade pkg depends on this information.

# file /netbsd
/netbsd: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, ARM, version 1, statically linked, for NetBSD 6.99.20, not stripped

# config -x
config: /netbsd does not contain embedded configuration data
So what can I actually do?
Sebastian

Julio, could you please have a look?
Maybe it just needs clarification of the error message?

Responsible-Changed-Why:
Yeah, I think improving the handling of the error is enough; the failure is not
critical.
Filed https://github.com/jmmv/sysupgrade/issues/2 where it belongs.
