 fstat(1) does much the same thing (and there's also lsof in pkgsrc) --
 is fuser that much more useful? I never really thought so...

 fuser not as good as lsof, but it good enough not having to bother =
 getting lsof installed.
 it's also useful from a compatibility PoW, many of my non-BSD colleagues =
 are used to have it around.=
