NetBSD XXXXXXXX 6.1.4_PATCH NetBSD 6.1.4_PATCH (XXXX) #0: Sat Jul 19 11:11:00 JST 2014 isaki@XXXXXXXX:/var/obj/6-1/amd64/obj/sys/arch/amd64/compile/XXXX amd64
(it is uname -a of build machine)
>Description:
When I run build.sh release iso-image twice, both were
successful but second build's cp(1) cannot overwrite some files.
It is the build log of second one.
:
===> Successful make release
iso_image ===> distrib
iso_image ===> distrib/notes
iso_image ===> distrib/utils
iso_image ===> distrib/x68k
iso_image ===> distrib/x68k/cdroms
iso_image ===> distrib/x68k/cdroms/installcd
Copying /var/obj/current/release/x68k to /var/obj/current/x68k/obj/distrib/x68k/cdroms/installcd/cdrom/x68k ...
Copying /var/obj/current/x68k/dst/usr/mdec/boot to /var/obj/current/x68k/obj/distrib/x68k/cdroms/installcd/cdrom ...
cp: /var/obj/current/x68k/obj/distrib/x68k/cdroms/installcd/cdrom/boot: Permission denied
iso-image ===> etc
:
Here, DESTDIR/usr/mdec/boot is set to CDBUILDEXTRA in
distrib/x68k/cdroms/installcd/Makefile and its permission is 444.
But ${CP} without -f is used in distrib/common/Makefile.bootcd
line 194.
>How-To-Repeat:
build.sh -m x68k release iso-image
build.sh -m x68k release iso-image
(run build.sh twice without cleanup)
>Fix:
Replace ${CP} with ${CP} -f or
insert ${RM} $${release_destdir}/$${cde} before {$CP}
in distrib/common/Makefile.bootcd ?
