On NetBSD/cubietruck, I'm not able to successfully grab pkgsrc github mirror. It fails with the following error message

 Make sure you have a very recent kernel. A lot of issues in this area
 have been fixed in the last week.

 It seems to work correctly on a 7.99.8 kernel. I will close the pr.
