amd64/7.0_RC1 ahcisata fails to attach drive

I tried to upgrade my PC from 6.1.4 to 7.0_RC1 but
INSTALL kernel could not attach wd{1,2} at ahcisata
with the error message:

ahcisata0 channel 1: clearing WDCTL_RST failed for drive 0
ahcisata0 channel 2: clearing WDCTL_RST failed for drive 0
------

7.0_RC1's kernel config is INSTALL (untouched).
6.1.4's kernel config is just GENERIC + "options FFS_EI".

Here is 7.0_RC1's dmesg.  wd1 and wd2 failed.
