Tested ok using the standard g95 compiler on NetBSD 7.99.42 amd64.
Should become math/R-NetCDF later on.

 Log Message:
 Add package R-RNetCDF version 1.9-1

 An R interface to the NetCDF file format designed by Unidata for
 efficient storage of array-oriented scientific data and descriptions.
 The R interface is closely based on the C API of the NetCDF library,
 and it includes calendar conversions from the Unidata UDUNITS library.
 The current implementation supports all operations on NetCDF datasets
 in classic and 64-bit offset file formats, and NetCDF4-classic format
 is supported for reading and modification of existing files.

I've added the package to pkgsrc proper (after a necessary update, as the old distfiles weren't kept in the same place).
I'm not familiar with the R landscape. Does this mean that we should remove R-ncdf and R-NetCDF?

 Also, the package itself is called RNetCDF in R, is renaming it to a
 name different from what upstream uses desirable?

 Yes, ncdf has been removed upstream and maya already created R-RNetCDF 
 for its successor. There is also ncdf4, with support for more modern 
 NetCDF formats. I no longer use pkgsrc, but in my opinion this PR can be 
 closed after removing R-ncdf.

 Please close the PR. There are more important things than a package for 
 a R module that has been removed upstream. The only effect of this PR is 
 a weekly reminder in my mailbox for some years now ;-)
