Architecture: x86_64
Machine: amd64
>Description:
After previous bad experiences with totaly non working suspend/resume,
I tried again.

To my suprise it mostly worked, screen came up (on text console ttyE0) and
the keyboard worked - yay!
Unfortunately it crashes imediately and I couldn't get a crash dump
(due to port-amd64/51944).

Forgot to add the (short and mostly useless) ddb session:

 kernel: protection fault trap, code=0
Stopped in pid 0.5 (system) at netbsd:Xsoftintr+0x40: movl 0(%rax),%esi
 db{0}> bt
 Xsoftintr() at netbsd:Xsoftintr+x0x48

When I was trying the same for my laptop, I userconf disabled
lots of drivers until it worked.
I'd start with disabling athn, bge and hdaudio.

Disabling athn makes the crash go away.

athn_sleep() tries to quiet the chip, athn_resume() powers it up again.
mlelstv suggested that a softint might be in-flight when we suspend,
but we have nothing like softint_wait_inactive() that we could call
 after athn_stop in athn_sleep.

Should central sleep code make sure no softints are in flight?
