(LOG CAPTURED FROM WORKING NETBSD 5.1)
>Description:
HI ,
We are upgrading NetBSD 5.1 kernel to 7.1.2 kernel for XLP308L Processor. During up-gradation we are facing a system hang in kernel bootup stage.
Control is not transferring to mach_init function (usr/src/sys/arch/evbmips/rmixl/machdep.c) system got hung in locore.S ( usr/src/sys/arch/mips/mips/locore.S)
Since console driver is not initialized we could not able to see the prints.
It would be great help if could able to share some debug points.
Note:-
We have build new tool chain for 7.1.2 kernel.
we are using uboot version U-Boot 2010.03-rc1
Thanks and Regards,
Karthik.G

Is -8 or -current better?
(Can I get one of these machines somewhere?)
Thanks!
