Using the directive "MellonDiagnosticsEnable On" results in a warning

MellonDiagnosticsEnable has no effect because Mellon was not compiled with diagnostics enabled, use ./configure --enable-diagnostics at build time to turn this feature on.

It would be nice to choose this feature via a pkgsrc option.
