After doing building all the prerequistes for pkgsrc for this platform
gcc-4.2.4 binutils-2.24 and completing the bootrap running bmake in the distribution directory. 

I get 

ERROR: [depends.mk] Installed package digest-20121220 has an
ERROR:     object format ``ELF'' which differs from ``a.out''.  Please
ERROR:     update the digest-20121220 package to a.out.

I really want to keep using ELF Is there a quick way arount this problems

Follow the instructions found in the bootstrap/README.OpenServer5 file

Then after the bootstrap I have the problem.  The bootstrap programs built work properly but I can't seem to get past the error wanting a.out when I really want ELFNE
