>Description:

The C compiler on macppc now segfaults trying to compile even a trivial
program:

  # >test.c
  # cc test.c
<built-in>: internal compiler error: Segmentation fault
no stack trace because unwind library not available
Please submit a full bug report,
  with preprocessed source if appropriate.
  See <http://www.NetBSD.org/support/send-pr.html> for instructions.

This is causing a large number of ATF tests to fail, for example
usr.bin/cc/t_hello:hello.

The problem appeared some time between source dates 2019.12.09.00.15.11
and 2019.12.18.20.38.14.

This is believed to be alloca() failure caused by gcc 8.3.
 It kills gdb as well.

Yes, this may be a duplicate of port-macppc/54827. I've just added some
observations of mine to that PR.
