I welcome the update of wm/vtwm to 5.5.0 and the removal of some pesky requirements. But there is also a regression. As it is unclear to me, how and where upstream handles bug reports, I'll start here.

In my .vtwmrc, I define a few custom buttons:

RightTitleButton "/vol/X11/include/X11/bitmaps/LeftRightArrow" = f.horizoom
RightTitleButton "/vol/X11/include/X11/bitmaps/UpDownArrow" = f.zoom

When these files are not present, vtwm 5.4.7 would simply show a generic "missing" icon. vtwm 5.5.0 crashes instead.

 I'd try the mailing list:

 https://sourceforge.net/p/vtwm/mailman/vtwm-hackers/

 and perhaps here:

 https://sourceforge.net/p/vtwm/vtwm/
