$ sysctl -a | grep freq
machdep.cpufreq.cpu0.target = 1000
machdep.cpufreq.cpu0.current = 1000
machdep.cpufreq.cpu0.available = 720 600 500
Setting "machdep.cpufreq.cpu0.target" to anything other than 1000 results in a hard lockup.
Also for some reason, machdep.cpufreq.cpu0.available does not list 1000 frequency.
