>Description:
Building oath-toolkit requires gtk-doc by default, which pulls in a load of extra dependencies. However, gtk-doc is only required to build the API documentation, and oath-toolkit can be built without it.

I'd like to request that oath-toolkit use the options framework with an added -doc option (which may remain enabled by default) to build oath-toolkit without requiring gtk-doc.
>How-To-Repeat:
cd security/oath-toolkit; bmake clean install
>Fix:
Add to Makefile:
# TOOL_DEPENDS+=	gtk-doc-[0-9]*:../../textproc/gtk-doc

It's probable there doesn't need to be an option - gtk-doc
generates HTML documentation, typically used on project websites,
while oath-toolkit already installs man pages for its API.

I don't think this is the right fix, but I can look into it
and hopefully update the package at the same time.

I'm sorry but my suggested fix does not successfully build. (Without =
realising I was building with gtk-doc still installed.)

However, the oath-toolkit developer has assured me that it is possible =
 to build without gtk-doc:
