>How-To-Repeat:
    I don't know if YOU can repeat it, but I can boot off 9.99.92 generic,
    and all three attempts at a GENERIC kernel failed:
	* kernel from the release binary/kernel/netbsd-GENERIC.gz
	* kernel from the release binary/sets kern-GENERIC.tar.xz
	* cd /usr/src/sys/arch/amd64/conf
	  rm -rf ../compile/GENERIC
	  config GENERIC
	  cd ../compile/GENERIC
	  make -j24 depend
	  make -j24
	  [netbsd]

	None known to me.

 Do you have any serial console, or management system like Intel AMT
 with serial-over-LAN, or can you get dmesg from the previous boot
 after the machine resets? (e.g., drop to the boot prompt and boot a
 working kernel)

 working kernel) [Hoping TBird doesn't HTMLify this on me...] Hi, Riastradh. I
 have no such setup for this machine -- it's very new and lacks a lot of the
 older amenities (PS/2 keyboard, required for 'boot -c'; or a serial port :P ).
 As far as a previous boot, no -- I have abandoned my 9.99.92 kernel and
 configured a nouveau-capable kernel which works with my nVidia card (GTX 750
 Ti if you need a confirmed working data point). I have to make sure my Radeon
 X370 is not completely FUBAR (was glitching all over the place even with
 acceleration disabled) first, as that could have been the source of my issue.
 I didn't even think about this as a possibility until after I posted my bug;
 I'm hoping it's not the case as the Radeon handled generally more smoothly
 than the nVidia is doing, even with the new acceleration (thank you, by the
 way). --*greywolf;
