>Description:
9.99.92 works fine. since 9.99.93 (over 2 weeks?) on my amd g14 zephyr laptop kernel crashes into the debugger during boot. this is using the install image for gpt on a usb flashdrive. i think it is at just after nouveau is done and then an issue of unable to copen console if memory serves. i can maybe help to determine what is happening if given directions, but there is no kernel startup and no dmesg available, no serial port for logging the startup either so it'll be typed email if needed. i didn't report it weeks ago expecting it to just be a transient from development but it has persisted.
>How-To-Repeat:
install image from current 9.99.93 on asus zephyr laptop. just boot it and it fails into the debugger.
>Fix:
run 9.99.92

After a discussion with Joseph, it appears that in 9.99.92 nouveau did not
attach to his graphics card. Disabling nouveau via userconf allowed him
 to boot successfully with 9.99.93.

Copied from one of his photographs of an unsuccesful 9.99.93 boot:
