MesaLib-21.3.9nb3
vlc-3.0.18nb5
Contrary to xine (see PR pkg/57760), vlc invoked without argument doesn't crash; it can play mp4 files; but it crashes when trying to read
a DVD and the failure is exactly the same as for xine(1). In MesaLib:
#0 0x00007b6e4ecbf08c in vl_idct_init_buffer()
from /usr/pkg/lib/dri/r600_dri.so
>How-To-Repeat:
On a node with a radeon (r600), try reading a DVD with vlc(1).

The bug is in MesaLib/gallium, at least radeon r600 driver.
Changing Screen depth from 16 bits to 24 bits doesn't circumvent the
bug.
