NetBSD-10.0_RC3-amd64-install.img boots fine on my PC, but is not recognized as bootable media by the EFI BIOS of VMware Workstation player 17.5. NetBSD-9.3-amd64-install.img boots fine.

I'm sorry to say that this was my problem.
VMware does not recognize my USB 3 memory stick,
The NetBSD 9.3 installer image was in USB 2 memory stick
which is works fine. Sorry for confusion.
