In e.g. https://cdn.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-10.0_RC6/i386/INSTALL.html#Quick%20install%20notes%20for%20the%20impatient you can CTRL+F "boot1.fs and boot2.fs are floppy images for VGA console installation" and see that the whole paragraph is wrong, it's not just boot1.fs and boot2.fs, there are 6 floppies total. Same for the boot-com$n.fs images.
