>Release: pkgsrc-2024Q1
>Organization:
>Environment:
NetBSD 10.0 amd64 GENERIC
>Description:
The pkgsrc bootstrap script has a few options listed in bootstrap/README but the output of bootstrap --help indicates there are many more options. There doesn't seem to be documentation for many of these options, and if there is, its location should be made more obvious.
>How-To-Repeat:
1) Try to determine which pkgsrc settings require running bootstrap on NetBSD.
2) Assume that the options that are set by bootstrap's command line arguments are those settings.
3) Try to find documentation for those arguments, on both their semantics and how they relate to /etc/mk.conf variables.
>Fix:
Document the command line arguments of the bootstrap script, including both what they do and any equivalence or relation to other documented settings like /etc/mk.conf variables.
