>Description:
I've noticed that the file arch/powerpc/include/vmparam.h seems
to be completely unused by the kernel -- each powerpc-port has its
own slightly modified version in arch/{bebox,ofppc,macppc}/include/vmparam.h.
>How-To-Repeat:
>Fix:
Either of two:
1. The quick&dirty fix is to remove arch/powerpc/include/vmparam.h
to avoid any confusion about its non-usage.
2. Reduce arch/powerpc/include/vmparam.h to just contain the common
stuff and then replace those pieces from the machine-specific
vmparam.h's by an include of <powerpc/vmparam.h>. If this suggestion
is accepted by the powers-that-be, I'll be happy to suggest patches
to implement this if that's going to expedite things.
best regards
