>Description:

when using cdplay(1) in interactive mode (ie, just run "cdplay"),
exiting the program will sometimes (rarely) stop the cd from
playing. i do not seem to be able to reproduce this reliably.

additionally, when a cd is already playing but cdplay is not
currently running, starting an interactive session will reliably
	stop the cd from playing.

>How-To-Repeat:

use cdplay. like it lots. expect that it does not keep state
and can be exiting/restarted any time without affecting the
	currently playing cd. lose.

>Fix:

	not given.

I don't see why it's failing when exiting, although I do know why playback
stops when you start cdplay. I'll be fixing that shortly.

I seem to recall that ad@ fixed the second problem; does first one still occur?

Submitter no longer uses cdplay, can't test easily. Anyone else seen this
behavior and want to check it? (I've never noticed it myself)

I'm on 5.0.2, with a Lenovo T61. I have tried to replicate this, but I'm not certain how he was getting out of interactive mode. I have tried ^Z which suspends to the background. Trying to restart in the background of ksh using bg just immediately resuspends with a (tty output) notice. I have tried quit, but that just exits the program altogether. Using ^D, ^C likewise stops the program with an exit.

I likewise cannot start out not in interactive mode as I cannot seem to start in digital mode from the command line (only from inside interactive mode). Likewise, starting from the command line just playing quickly stops the job (I don't know why).
