After a write() call returns, the mtime on a file/directory is changed.
lfs_cleanered also changes the mtime when committing changes to
the file system.

Programs which use the mtime get confused because it is updated twice.

modify a file, note the mtime .. then note the mtime after
lfs_cleanered cleans up.
