>Description:
XalphaNetBSD in the 1.6 release has a problem when a window is dragged left or right. The leading edge of the window is not redrawn correctly.
>How-To-Repeat:
Try to use XalphaNetBSD x-server on a Multia/UDB. (Is it broke on other alpha systems with TGA cards too?)
>Fix:
Recompiling xsrc/xc/programs/Xserver/hw/netbsd/alpha/tga without compiler optimization (no -O flag) seems to fix the problem.
(build libalphaTga.a without optimization, then build XalphaNetBSD with new library)

I can confirm, the distortion still exists with X running on a tga card as of NetBSD 4.0.
