This is different to the error I get with the Tungsten T, see
kern/20233. Just mentioning that here as a cross-reference to
USB problems with new Palm models.

In the meantime I've been using IR on my laptop to sync.

 Simon.

 	hmm.

i experience the same behavior with USB charging/sync cable as well:
 	http://store.palm.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1230125&cp=1214570

USB cable from belkin corporation can only charge the battery, no
 	hotsync is possible.

 	RS232C cable works fine.

(so I now have 4 cables...)

using 802.11b for downloading *.prc :-)
