When running the latest greatest miniroot-based sysinst, everything goes great except the only way to delete text in the prompts (such as path to distribution sets) is ^U or ^H. The backspace and delete keys on the keyboard don't work.
This is a sun5 keyboard, and going to a shell (from the utility menu) produces working delete/backspace keys. Not sure why sysinst doesn't pick it up.
