>Description:
Right now, disk labels can't handle really large disks. Some
people say that the way to fix this is to complete the "wedges"
code. However, no documentation exists for "wedges", or it is at least
very incomplete. It would be useful for someone to:
1) Write up a summary of the Wedges design so that people can finish
the implementation.
2) Write up proper docs so that users can use the parts we have (and
so that they will be able to use the whole thing once finished.)

Pointed originator to dk(4) and dkctl(8) documentation in hopes that that
will be enough to let us close this PR.

Perry,
Now that we have man pages for dk(4) and dkctl(8) (and even one for
dkscan_bsdlabel(8)) can we close out your PR?

I'd say it looks that way. I haven't read everything closely, but if you
feel that people can now learn about wedges well enough from the docs,
feel free to close it.

I'm not sure. It would be nice to have some introductory information
in dk(4) that, you know, says what a wedge is and describes a little
bit about disk partitioning. All the docs tell you right now is that
there are these things called wedges and they might have something to
do with partition tables; it doesn't say what behavior to expect or
how to use wedges effectively.
My inclination would not have been to close this; in fact, I think
maybe it should be reopened. Anyone else have an opinion?
