System: NetBSD 4.0 NetBSD 4.0 (GENERIC) #0: Sun Jan 13 15:54:37 EST 2008 sparc64
Architecture: sparc64
Machine: sparc64
Upon booting the 4.0 sparc64 install CD, I see the following FATAL
message printed. The message isn't fatal though, as I am able to
	complete an install.

	cd0 at atapibus0 drive 0: <CRD-8322B, 1998/09/24, 1.05> cdrom removable
cd0: drive supports PIO mode 4, DMA mode 2
cd0(cmdide0:1:0): using PIO mode 4, DMA mode 2 (using DMA)
FATAL: boot device not found, check your firmware settings!
root on md0a dumps on md0b
	root file system type: ffs
Boot the 4.0 install CD on an Ultra 5.

I think I know what's going on

The message (back then) was not fatal because MD with install image overrode
the boot device anyway. This has changed, we now boot with root on cd0a.
The boot device matching and the bootloader info passed have been extended,
so nowadays it should be ~impossible to not find the boot device if
(a) OF can load the kernel and (b) we attach the device in the kernel.
