>Description:
OSS sound (at least on my laptop) is choppy again.
This is a regression, since it used to have been fixed in (or
	before) 3.0.
It occurs in MPlayer after some time: first the sound is ok,
then it becomes choppy. Pausing and unpausing fixes it for some
	time, then the problem recurs.

Using Sun audio works ok, in the cases I have tried.

auvia0 at pci0 dev 17 function 5: VIA Technologies VT82C686A AC'97 Audio (rev 0x40)
auvia0: interrupting at irq 9
auvia0: ac97: VIA Technologies VT1612A codec; headphone, 18 bit DAC, 18 bit ADC, KS Waves 3D
auvia0: ac97: ext id 201<AMAP,VRA>
audio0 at auvia0: full duplex, mmap, independent

>How-To-Repeat:
Play movie in mplayer. Be annoyed by choppy sound after a few minutes.
>Fix:
Workaround: use Sun audio. (at least the volume control still works,
that used to be broken with sun audio and the reason to prefer OSS)

Can you try a NetBSD-8 or 8.99 -current kernel as audio and libossaudio have had many
updates since 4.0?
