>Description:
First, let me just say that this is not a regression. It's been a bug since at least NetBSD 1.6.1 on Atari. But I've only just got around to filing a PR now that there's been an active effort to get the latest NetBSD versions working again on the TT030. I'm observing this behavior currently in NetBSD HEAD.

The bug is, as described, the internal floppy drive light on the Atari TT030 stays on after boot.

Some clues: http://mail-index.netbsd.org/port-atari/1995/12/11/0000.html
This mail seems to have been way before the 1.6.1 release though, so I guess this wasn't fully resolved at the time.
>How-To-Repeat:
Boot NetBSD on an Atari TT030 w/o a floppy in the internal 1.44MB drive. Observe the floppy drive light (and motor?) stays on.
>Fix:
Workaround: Keep a floppy in the drive during boot. If you do this, the light goes out.
