>Description:
See pkg/23746 and pkg/32012 (and pkg/33711 can probably get closed on the way).

Compiling pkg_filecheck on Solaris fails with:

Undefined first referenced
 symbol in file
fts_close /var/tmp//cconLXDe.o
fts_open /var/tmp//cconLXDe.o
fts_read /var/tmp//cconLXDe.o
fts_set /var/tmp//cconLXDe.o
ld: fatal: Symbol referencing errors. No output written to pkg_filecheck

NB that fts.h is found, because libnbcompat is pulled in. But the implementation in libnbcompat/__fts13.c gets not compiled and linked.

Please change this assignment. This is not a Solaris problem. The
 Makefile contains this line

 USE_FEATURES=   fts_open

which is probably supposed to Do The Right Thing. So it's a problem in
pkgsrc. Moreover, the same function is missing in several other OS's
libc, so this affects not only Solaris.

I don't understand status "feedback". Do you want to know if I set
MISSING_FEATURES somewhere outside the package (e.g. in mk.conf)? No, I
 don't.

 What does
 make show-var VARNAME=MISSING_FEATURES
 report?

I just saw that pkg/23746 mentiones a patch submitted by Roland Illig in
2005 for this problem. Has this patch been removed in the meantime?
