g95 seems to build successfully, but there are wrong filenames after install because the install used x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu instead of x86_64-unknown-linux (see below).

This should be resolved due to patches/patch-ab. it is from $host
being used instead of $host_alias (which would not append -gnu)
there are new linux+g95 issues, so it's unclear if the problem was
completely resolved.
if you happen to be on a linux machine that is capable of producing a
viable xgcc in the g95 build process (i.e. build completes), let me
know if you still have issues (or let this time out and we'll close it)

linux g95 still has problems, see 51198, still open. but they
are different.
