When installing 5.1_R2 on virtual machine (VirtualBox OSE 3.1.8_OSE r61349) the process crases with a page fault error:

uvm_fault(0xc0b82a00, 0, 1) -> 0xe
uvm_fault(0xc0b82a00, 0, 1) -> 0xe
fatal page fault in supervisor mode
trap type 6 code 0 eip c0100ca8 cs 8 eflags 246 cr2 0 ilevel 1
kernel: supervisor trap page fault, code=0
Stopped in pid 0.15 (system) at netbsd:spllower+0x28: lock addl %eax,0(%eax)

(this is a known issue with virtualbox, though; as I recall the latest
virtualbox and -current now get along, so you might be able to install
a -current snapshot.)

Can you confirm whether this is fixed using latest VirtualBox 5.1.8 and
NetBSD-current? I don't seem to be able to repeat this.

 I tested with Netbsd 7.0.2 and Virtualbox 5.1.8 and it is working fine.
