>Description:
In trying to debug bge issues, issues were discovered with -current.

This is running on a Dell Dimension C521 (2 core, 2G ram), with an BGE 5701, and an HDMI output based vga card installed.

GENERIC, Source update as of July 4, 2011 14:30 PDT:
- booted normally hangs in autoconf after acpicpu1 line
- booted with -12c & 'disable azalia' gets to multi user
- booted with -1 gets to multi user
- booted with -2 hangs after audio0 at hdafg4

This system functions correctly with SMP (modulo issues with high nfs load) on 5.0.2, bge fails to communicate on 5.1 & netbsd-5.

The first thing: does it hang if you disable acpicpu(4) either from
userconf(4) or from the kernel configuration file?

11-year feedback timeout.

Let's assume ACPI boot issues from 2011 are no longer relevant.

(There's also possibly an azalia issue but that's even less relevant.)
