System: NetBSD hydrogen.elements.tetera.org 6.99.4 NetBSD 6.99.4 (LEAFGIRLB) #5: Mon Apr 9 00:52:28 JST 2012 root@hydrogen.elements.tetera.org:/usr/obj/sys/arch/i386/compile/LEAFGIRLB i386
Architecture: i386
Machine: i386
>Description:
NetBSD lacks cardbus version of bwi(4) support.
This is from OpenBSD.

This works at least with Buffalo/Melco WLI-CB-G54 cardbus card
on NetBSD/i386 6.99.3 and 6.99.4.
I have only i386 cardbus machine, but this will work with NetBSD/amd64.

Also src/share/man/man4/bwi.4 should be modified.
It has "driver does not yet support cardbus devices."

Should this be pulled up to -6?

Shouldn't it be tested first? For instance, from a quick look, it yet again
 seems to break suspend/resume.

Well, clearly. But at that point? I haven't looked to see how invasive
it is, on the grounds that other people here know without having to go
 and look...

 Seems harmless enough.
