NetBSD agraphic2.VIDANDRIUS 6.0_BETA NetBSD 6.0_BETA (GENERIC) amd64
>Description:
Broadcom BCM57781 NIC doesn't connect to the network on Asrock X79 Extreme4-M motherboard. NetBSD configures bge0 device but there is the
line that ASIC is unknown (bge0: ASIC unknown BCM57765 (0x57785100))
and network just doesn't work (DHCP doesn't assign any IP address,
manual configuration doesn't help too). The same NIC works on FreeBSD and Linux (Fedora 16).

 Hello,

 I tried a head revision (6.99) recently (downloaded 201212032150Z
amd64 iso) and network card had worked correctly already.
Unfortunately, I don't know which changes made it work (maybe PR/46961
has something to do with this). Current netbsd-6 branch doesn't have
these changes yet as the card doesn't work where still (tried
 201212051710Z amd64 iso).

 Hello,

I can confirm that PR46961 changes "fixed" this bug too. I backported
all changes to the 6 branch (only some definitions were pulled up at
24 October to 6-branch for some reason from PR46961). IP address was
assigned by dhcp successfully. Network and internet worked too. So
this PR can be closed too (especially if everything will be pulled up
 to netbsd-6 branch).

It is not necessary to get working condition but I also added these
lines from FreeBSD to make ASIC recognizable to the system:
