>Release: NetBSD 6.0 BETA2 AMD64
>Organization:
Easy Free UNIX
>Environment:
This was during install, I could get no uname output. You'll have to take my word that it was NetBSD 6.0 BETA 2 AMD64 (I suspect this bug is in all the platforms).
>Description:
It is not clear that the install wizard will only configure a single network device. Additionally, if you make a mistake on the network configuration and set a default route, you are stuck with it, even if you change to DHCP.
>How-To-Repeat:
Complete configuring a network device for static IP.
Configure a second device with DHCP.
Or do this in reverse order
The default gateway set for the static IP remains the same.
>Fix:
User Fix:
Reboot and start the install over with the new found knowledge that you are going to configure only one device during install, and you need to configure the others afterwards.

Quick Fix:
Just state during the install that the network configuration should pertain to only one network device, and you'll need to configure the others by hand when you're done.

Optional Fix:
Allow multiple device configurations, and an option for setting the default route, which should include "as determined by DHCP" (or specific DHCP interface).

I made this a Medium priority, as I think the "Quick Fix" I listed above should be pretty simple to implement.
